We are thrilled to invite you to a community engagement event on December 11th, 2023 at 6p.m., where we will involve to provide input public to shape the future of our newly acquired electric trams. The City of Manitou Springs has purchased two electric trams, one earmarked for downtown service and the other dedicated to facilitating access to various areas in and around Manitou Springs.
With it understood that a single tram servicing outside of downtown cannot meet the needs of every neighborhood and resident, we are involving the community so we can better understand your priorities regarding tram usage and preferred destinations. Your insights will play a pivotal role in optimizing the effectiveness of the tram to meet the diverse needs of our residents.
During this event, participants will collaborate in small groups of 7-10 individuals to address a series of questions related to tram preferences, key destinations, and logistical considerations. Your active involvement will contribute to the development of a thoughtful and community-driven approach to tram service.
