    Project Manager - Consultant

Through a collaborative effort, the City of Manitou Springs, City of Colorado Springs and the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway are undertaking a study to identify opportunities and address improvements that will enhance mobility within the City and connections to adjoining regional areas and transportation systems. The visionary and future-forward plan should advance and evolve community goals identified in Plan Manitou and align with planning/design efforts of other mobility projects.

We believe the outcome of the Mobility Study will impact several projects currently underway including the future of the Hiawatha Gardens footprint. Through this mobility discovery process, we are committed to our values of economic vibrancy, sustainability; support of area businesses and attractions; historical preservation and celebration; good stewardship; and ultimately resilient and effective systems to service our citizens and visitors.

Open House for Transportation & Mobility Master Plan- April 24th, 2019

Manitou Springs residents, business owners, and other stakeholders are encouraged to provide input and feedback for the Transportation & Mobility Master Plan, encompassing all mobility throughout the city. This is the first community workshop for the plan and will focus on the existing conditions of the citywide transportation system and solicit feedback from attendees on various mobility themes ranging from parking to pedestrian facilities. The open house will include informational displays and/or exhibits which facilitate the community mobility conversation. City and Consultant planners and staff will be on hand to gather feedback and answer questions. Additionally, representatives for on-going projects will be in attendance to discuss their status and how they fit into the Transportation & Mobility Master Plan..
