Overgrown Vegetation

It is the duty of landowners to control weeds on their property. Non-native vegetation growing higher than nine inches on any private property or along any sidewalk adjoining the same, must be cut and the cuttings removed by the property owner. The property owner shall remove any dead and/or overhanging branches which create hazardous conditions, which extend over public property, or which abut the property of said owner.

This does not apply to land in its natural state - meaning land which has not been disturbed by digging, scraping, or plowing so as to disturb the natural growth indigenous to the area.
