PARAB Grant Program

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PARAB) Grant Program was launched in 2005 to enhance our community through educational programs, community initiatives, recreation, entertainment, etc.

Organizations, businesses and collaborative groups located or operating in Manitou Springs are eligible for funding of up to $1,000. Individuals located or operating in Manitou Springs can apply for up to $500 in mini-grants.


The purpose of the program is three-fold:

  • To provide an opportunity for Manitou Springs' residents to implement creative ideas through local projects, leisure activities and recreation
  • To provide engaging experiences within the community for the benefit and enjoyment of residents and visitors
  • To enhance our local parks, trails and recreational areas


Please check the Grant Guidelines  to ensure your grant request meets the criteria of grant guidelines.  

Applications are accepted twice each year: the Spring application deadline is April 15, and the Fall application deadline is September 15. Applicants will be notified of the decision and the availability of funding within two months of the PARAB receiving the grant request.
