NEW REGULATIONS STARTING DECEMBER 2017: SITE PLAN AND LOT COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS:

The Planning Department now has certain requirements for site plans. No longer will hand-drawn site plans be accepted by the department. Site plans must be prepared by, or based on a survey prepared by, a qualified professional with the appropriate signature and seal affixed. Improvement Location Certificates (ILCs) will only be accepted as a site plan for the permitting of fences and permitting repairs or reconstruction of existing building features shown at the time of preparation of the Improvement Location Certificate, such as replacement of an existing deck.   • The Planning Department now requires electronic submission of packets for Planning Commission and Historic Preservation.  Please submit packets to planningdept@comsgov.com  Please call 719-685-4398 if you have any questions.
  • From 2016 onward, Pre-Application appointments will be required a minimum of 10 business days prior to submission deadline.
