PARAB Grant Program
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PARAB) Grant Program was launched in 2005 to encourage public involvement and implement creative ideas through local projects and activities in order to enhance our local parks, trails and recreational areas for the benefit and enjoyment of residents and visitors.
Organizations, businesses and collaborative groups located or operating in Manitou Springs are eligible for funding of up to $1,000. Individuals located or operating in Manitou Springs can apply for up to $500 in mini-grants.
The purpose of the program is three-fold:
a) To provide an opportunity for Manitou Springs' residents to implement creative ideas through local projects, leisure activities and recreation,
b) To provide engaging experiences within the community for the benefit and enjoyment of residents and visitors, and
c) To enhance our local parks, trails and recreational areas.
Applications are accepted twice each year: the Spring application deadline is May 15 (all applicants will be notified about funding by June 15) and the Fall application deadline is November 15 (all applicants will be notified about funding by December 15).
